Eugène Atget considered himself a photographer focused on documenting the architecture and streets of Paris. For my response I wanted to take an architectural approach by putting the white strong piece of paper that makes the middle part stand but at the same time that middle page is disintegrating itself; making reference to the historical buildings that had been lost after two wars.
Nice work. I see how the Atget is designed to stand. What's your thinking behind that?
